Blog

The blog is the personal musings of someone who wanted to learn to fly. It covers my journey from my first lesson towards getting my NPPL(Microlight) licence and on through to flying GA (General Aviation, Cessnas and the like) via adding NPPL(SSEA) Simple Single Engine Aircraft and finally turning that into a LAPL (Light Aircraft Pilot Licence). I passed my GST for microlights on the 22nd June 2015 around 2 years after my first lesson.

While learning to fly I blogged about the lessons I took and my learning for the exams. I have tried to give an honest account of my journey, warts and all as I got somewhat despondent reading other people’s blogs who seemed to be wonderful at learning this new skill.

As you will be able to tell I’m not a professional writer and I am dyslexic too, so please don’t expect this site to be free from spelling errors or 100% grammatically correct, but I will try my best and hopefully, other people and student pilots may find it of interest!
